Build a reception plan around your tables and guest list, with as much seating detail as you need.

Label guests by group and filter your list while assigning tables. You choose who sits together; leave individual seats open or assign exact chairs where needed.

Give your venue a clear seating plan

Download the table layout as a PNG. Print the layout and guest list by table, or save them as a PDF through your browser’s print dialog. A4 and US Letter are supported.

How to make a wedding seating chart

  1. 1

    Bring your wedding guest list

Paste names from Excel or Google Sheets, or upload a CSV. Include groups such as family or friends, then review the import preview.

  2. 2

    Set up your reception tables

Use your venue’s table arrangement as a guide. Add tables, set their capacities, and name them so guests and venue staff can identify them.

  3. 3

    Assign guests to tables

Use groups to find guests and place them at a table. Choose exact seats at the head table or anywhere else that needs a specific arrangement.

  4. 4

    Review and print your plan

Check guests without a table and any capacity warnings. Open Export to download the layout or print your chart and table lists. Save a backup for later changes.

Wedding seating chart FAQs

Can I create a head table or sweetheart table?

Yes. Add a one-sided table for a head table, or choose a sweetheart table for two. You can change table names, positions and capacities.

Do I need to assign every guest an exact seat?

No. You can assign most guests to tables and choose exact seats only where needed, all in the same wedding seating chart.

What can I print for my venue?

Print the table layout and a guest list grouped by table on A4 or US Letter. Choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog for a PDF copy. You can also download the layout as a PNG. These exports are free and have no watermark.

Can I change my wedding seating chart later?

Yes. Your plan is saved in this browser on this device. Check that the editor says “Saved in this browser” before closing. Download a backup to keep a separate copy or restore it on another device; clearing browser data can remove your saved plan.
