Privacy Policy
Draft. This page has not been reviewed yet and will be updated before launch.
ChartSeat is a free seating chart tool. It is built so that your guest list and seating plan stay on your own device.
Your seating plan stays in your browser
- Guest names, groups, notes, event titles, tables and seat assignments are saved in your browser’s local storage (IndexedDB). They are not uploaded to our servers.
- Imported CSV files, backup files, PNG images and PDFs are created and read on your device.
- Clearing your browser data deletes your saved plan. Download a backup if you want to keep a copy.
Usage statistics
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage information, such as page visits and whether a seating chart was started or exported. This never includes guest names, notes, event titles or file contents. [Analytics provider to be confirmed.]
Hosting
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most websites, the hosting provider may process technical request data such as IP addresses and browser information to deliver and protect the service.
Cookies
ChartSeat does not currently use cookies for advertising or tracking.
Children
ChartSeat is not directed at children under 13.
